Allow us at Kontraband to proudly present Abbie, who owns and runs the camgirl site OnHerCam, which brings us delightful honeys like Dahlia. Here she describes, with wit and candour, a typical day in her life, a life we must all surely envy, or so I'd thought...but things are never that simple, are they?

So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, perverts, vagabonds, geeks, layabouts, thinkers, philosophers, haters and visionaries, heeeeeeere's Abbie...

The things I do for the webmasters I adore. Little did I know that being voted "Best of the Best" or "Queen of Kontraband" would thrust me into doing this blog post. I even tried to grovel to Wesbo and whine my way out of it, but alas, his cute little British accent won me over and I conceded. So here I am to fill your minds with the joys of being a webmistress. I can assure you that while I do love my models at OnHerCam, this "job" isn't nearly as glamorous as you all may think. Top that off with being a single mom, trying to maintain a relationship with a guy, and constant demands for my attention in other aspects of my life and you can easily see how crazy a "Day in the Life of Abbie" can be.

5:30am: Yes, I'm nuts. I have to wake up at this ungodly hour each day of the week (outside of weekends) in order to get my Spawn ready for school. I get up a half an hour before I wake him up simply because I need my coffee fix before I can function and deal with him or anyone else.

7:00am: Spawn leaves for school. At this point I often attempt to go back to sleep, but more often than not, all the East Coasters are wide awake and beckoning me to my computer, phone, or whatever else.

In general, I try to use my mornings for personal things such as appointments, gym time, meetings at the Spawn's school, and more. This isn't every day, but it's generally a few days out of the work week. Keep in mind I consider my work week to be Sunday -Thursday.

So. Mornings. All I know is that I need an IV attached to me so that it can maintain a constant flow of my favourite Starbucks or Peet's coffee. I spend a good portion of the mornings playing "catch-up". This is the time when I am surfing numerous webmaster forums, checking out the social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter, and going through emails. I would have to say that 90% of what I do involves networking in some form or another. I'm not sitting back all day watching my models torment my inner-lesbian with their tits and asses. I actually spend a great deal of time working out content deals, traffic deals, plugs and more with other webmasters.

12:00pm: Generally by lunch time I have an idea of what I need to do the rest of the day and evening. I put together a to-do list as I handle all my morning networking and emails and instant messages. I make my second pot of coffee. I eat some lunch (I don't usually eat breakfast regularly. Bad habit, I know). I get a second wind and dive into the fun part of my work.

1:00pm: By this time models and model applicants start coming to life. This is when the REAL fun begins. The steady streams of IMs from models regarding everything from "How do I hide my tampon string on cam?" to "Where's my check?" to "I hate my boyfriend and my life". It's non-stop from this point on until I go to bed.

My afternoons are filled with phone calls, voice chats on messengers, instant messaging, and more. Keep in mind that while I am doing all of that, I am usually also trying to edit videos, help set up new models, keeping an eye on cams or the OHC forums, putting together content for webmasters, and I have to keep my cohort in crime, Annaliese, on my AIM during all of this as a means to amuse myself. Annaliese and I have the best conversations throughout our work days. Strange conversations, but she helps keep the monotony away. An example of our deep intellectual conversations would be:

Abbie : i just put in my pot roast
Abbie : i rubbed it
Abbie : stroked it
Abbie : talked dirty to it
Annaliese : hahahahaha
Annaliese : spanked it a little
Abbie : fingered it
Abbie : i swear i heard it moan
Annaliese: hahahahaha
Annaliese : it wanted it
Abbie : it so did ... nothing like being violated before you get cooked.

2:30pm: My Spawn is home around this time from school. I usually step away from the computer for about half an hour or so to give him attention, look at homework, make him a snack or tell him do some chore that he thinks is the end of the world. But after he's all situated I get right back to the grind and keep at it for a few more hours.

6:00pm: Dinner time. Give or take a half an hour or so. I hate cooking. I can cook, but I hate it. If I didn't have a kid, I'd probably never cook and live off of Subway sandwiches and Starbucks. I usually step away from the computer for a couple hours and hang out with Spawn if he is up to it. We'll watch TV, work on his homework, go out someplace, or just veg out doing nothing.

8:00pm: Spawn goes to bed. It's usually around this time that we'll have things going on such as Free Cams or some special event at OnHerCam. This is also what I tend to consider "rush hour" on the sites. Things tend to get extremely busy (meaning the wives and children go to bed so the horny men folk come out to play online). I seem to get a good bulk of our customer service inquiries around this time and spend time doing that while keeping an eye on things. I'll also continue to work on things like contacting model applicants, setting up new applicants, doing even more email, and assuring camgirls that their hair looks fine and their asses aren't big.

Probably the most common occurrence during our "rush hour" is the onslaught of idiots who tend to invade our forums and model chat rooms. We get the horny teenage boys trying to use Daddy's credit cards to beat off with. Or we get the non-English-speaking users who come into chat rooms making one-word demands on models such as "sex", "tits", "f#ck". Not full sentences, just one word commands. But my personal favourites have to be the guys who come into chat rooms simply to call the models names such as "slut", "whore", and whatever other childish terms they can pull out of their asses. I generally dismiss these morons as the very same idiots who probably consider jerking off into a sock as "getting laid" and couldn't get a real girl if their life depended on it. Needless to say, our ban buttons stay quite busy in the evenings.

11:00pm: Things are slowing down a bit and the UK'ers and Aussie webmasters are starting to lurk and pop up on messengers. Or in Wes's case, play phone tag with me. I actually enjoy these webbies the most .they have a much different style of doing things. I particularly enjoy the phone calls because I tend to touch my no-no spot when I hear their accents.

And this is when I get to enjoy my own social life. The "man" tends to work similar hours to me and we generally catch up at night, whether it's online or he comes over here to perform magical things on my vajayjay. I tend to look forward to this time most as it allows me to put away the computers, ignore the iPhone, and simply relax.

I'm sure you all expected to hear more about hot chicks, tits, lingerie and other naughty bits. Being me isn't all the sexy-flesh one would seem to expect with my work. Someone once told me that "running an adult website is like having several wives. All the nagging and none of the sex". It's so very true.
