Though somewhat true, its somewhat false. Many of the inuit people club seals and sell the pelts to make a living.

Nothing against the fun of mass slaughter, but Eskimos (Inuit really, the name eskimo is an insult, kinda like the n-word), don't club seals. White fisherman do. They're mostly from Labrador.
