the marijuana deaths go like this. someone takes a hit off of a joint then drinks a pint of vodka. they then get into a car and smash into a telephone pole. news report, "marijuana death! are your children at risk?"

actually you're wrong there, cocaine is considered much more dangerous than ecstasy. although these aren't the figures i saw reported in the uk recently. the ones i saw had alcohol deaths equalling all drug deaths for a start.

take into consideration the amount of people using the drugs. i would bet anything that people abuse cocaine more than they do ecstasy. most people that overdose on cocaine are using for a long time, ecstasy users aren't taking it nearly as much.
