...in china the government, not ISPs censor the internet. In Canada it is also the government, not the ISPs or line companies that threaten your access to free donkey shows...really? Donkey shows? That's up.

the government can only censor the internet with the cooperation of the ISPs. You access internet through the ISP's router, to which can be programmed to limit or block anything.

...of which 80% is dark (not in use) because it just doesn't go anywhere. Censorship of the internet has been attempted several times before by AOL, Compuserve, Yahoo, Geocities, and Google. None of which PROVIDE an internet connection...
